I'm conservative [small "L" liberal really] so normally would say "Let them live or die in the market" but it ain't that simple.
Rex caters for the non-trunk travellers. The duopoly doesn't even try to cater there. FIFO miners, who are super contributors to our economy, need to be able to travel and families in dozens of mining towns need to travel and do so without company paid charters. Rex can't be allowed to die.
BTW These families can't use EVs for the distances they routinely travel.
