This is becoming more prevalent with the increasing use of industrial chemicals in agriculture that come through the food chain.
Scientists are finding frogs that comprise both genders and could technically inseminate themselves.

There has been a large rise in hermaphrodite babies and children whose gender does not become apparent until they reach puberty.
It may also explain the large rise in Gender Dysphoria and accordingly trans people.
Some of these female boxers with XY chromosomes may have been male fetuses that did not develop.

"Put plainly: atrazine shrinks testicles, reduces sperm count, and can even make males grow ovaries. Or, as the authors put it, "demasculization" is a "decrease in male gonadal characteristics including decreases in testicular size, decreases in Sertoli cell number, decreases in sperm production, and decreases in adrogen production." Feminization of gonads is "the development of oocytes in the testes or complete ovarian differentiation in genetic males."

An article about how this situation came to be. Essentially the Boxing federation had banned the athlete competing as a female, but the Boxing Federation's internal affairs were not in order, so they were stripped of governing authority for the purpose of the Olympics. The Olympic code was then applied, which according to the article amount to a series of non policies that allow loose definitions of sex/gender.

I believe that they may have swyer syndrome. Which means they are chromosomaly male but have undeveloped female gonads but at birth appear female. So a little different from intersex
