why are we so tied to the united states?

because we have similar beginnings - not the bloodshed amongst our own brethren but because of the heavy leaning on biblical tenets. if america was muslim or hindu for example, we would not have the same comradeship, the same heritage.

it is because of god and the bible and our very close ties to both that we share such a close relationship.

a further common thread is that both were almost solely influenced by the british.
