It appears that they are looking to retrofit their fleets with a combination of Fortescue's and their technology. That would be the most economical option at this point in time. It's really looking similar in strategy to the Liebherr/Fortescue partnership. Mate, COSCO have over 1400 vessels and Fortescue intend to decarbonise their own 80 vessels. And let's not forget the Singapore partnership where they conducted the worlds first trial using ammonia as shipping fuel. This could be bigger than the heavy haul truck partnership.
