Hopefully the FAA will choose Adacel again. According to the ODRA documents, Adacel's bid price was $USD52,495,797. The contract has one base year and 4 option years. The contract was not expected to be recompeted until 2029. ODRA’s findings are allowing for a reevaluation of the 2 bids with a decision likely sometime in Sept. Doing some quick calculations on the total contract price breaks down to roughly $USD10,499,159 per year for each year of the 5 year contract. The loss of the contract would result in a reduction of approximately USD$41,996,637 in expected revenue over the next 4 years or AUD$64,421,917.23.
