well the narrative to date has been completely wrong for gold on the macro - interest rates going up should have been bad for gold - yet here we are through a near 4% rise in the last year or so sitting at top $$ POG.
yet now we are to believe the narrative that a interest rate drop will spur gold on. WHAT - the complete opposite of what has been happening??
but hang on - now the employment data is out etc etc the mkts start falling - on the basis the economy must be going bad - and will POG follow - maybe not BUT i bet the share prices in all the mining Cos will be hit.
have a look around ALK not only gold miner that should be flying based on POG - but are not - there is plenty of blood on the floor across the board - good Cos too
so i just do not believe all the narratives becuase they have basically been wrong so many times and here we are sitting at record POG and losing money on gold shares
maybe the gold bulls were finally right - just own the metal!!!!! forget the noise and commentary
like to get in but based on my conclusions above - why would I - where is the bottom here - is the POG going to save the sp - it hasnt so far.
