The more I'm researching the shipping decarbonisation space and what Fortescue have already achieved in just a few short years is truly extraordinary.

1. Fortescue have a commercial vessel The Green Pioneer' on waters running on ammonia/diesel.

2. They've received approvals to use the ship already from Singapore partners.

3. They're now working alongside COSCO in what appears to be an even bigger potential partnership. This is another very strategic move by both companies. Mate, they're looking to build and establish a green fuel supply chain across the maritime industry. Two HUGE players in the space onboard and working on new technology solutions.

I feel The Green Pioneer has opened the gates and it's evident by what Fortescue have achieved in a few short years. There also seems to be a sense of urgency from the Maritime Industry and for good reason.

I'm keen to understand what this latest collaboration materialises into.
