Sure enough with a market meltdown we see the Mmmmmoooe crawling out again + crapping about his ' market correction'. This huge Wall St volatility is Not a 'market correction'. It's Wall St zooming one day on expectation of easing interest rates, followed by panic about Recession the very next day. Fear of Recession is real ( that's why there's no interest rates hike in August); in Oz esp the Millennials n Gen Z have pulled back spending in cafes n restaurants. Hlo market is cocooned baby boomers who don't feel the high interest rates & must spend cos there's no tomorrow. Aside from keeping some for their kids' inheritance ,Travel is their No 1 priority. Sure there'll be contagion from Wall St meltdowns but Hlo fundamentals (+ demographic) are solid.
