Just a comment on the use of the phrase Empire and Colonialists.

The British, French and Spanish Empires and the various Corporations like the Dutch East India Company were all controlled by a relative VERY FEW PEOPLE.

Vast numbers of the British People have been slaves for hundreds of years.

Serfdom was slavery.
Orphanages were Slave Factories
Convicted Criminals (stole a loaf of bread) if kept on a Hulk in the Thames were sold as part of the Goods on the Hulk to Slave Owners in the West Indies et al .......... as "property" and never to be released into freedom.
Convicts were specific period slaves (7 - 14 years)
People press-ganged into the various arms of the Military or Navy were also Slaves of a sort.

These Empires are actually Crime Syndicates, that Share the Blame, but happily take the Goodies and the Fame.
