Im with Red,
RIO has spent a fortune in the LJ area already, smart move imho.
There are large caps hunting POS assets and have been for 10 years now
The RIO theory I predicted years ago on here also, so i would not be surprised its them for LJ
I predicted correctly MINRES getting involved here years ago, SPOT ON.
WHY would MINRES pull out of a cheap LJ deal so fast and suddenly,
WHO were they afraid of,
WHO is bigger than MINRES other than BHP RIO BMM Gina AFAF ? Must be one of these ones.
WHO is after LJ and its assets and tenements & has interests in LJ area already?
RIO IGO BMM AFAF have.
9 months ago RIO/RTX did a large deal with LIT & Charger -
https://wcsecure.weblink.com.au/pdf/CHR/02741951.pdf
"Rio Tinto and Charger Metals sign Farm-in Agreement for the Lake Johnston Lithium Project Charger has entered into a binding agreement with Lithium Australia Limited (ASX: LIT) to purchase their minority interest in the Lake Johnston Lithium Project for $2 million to increase Charger’s interest to 100% (LIT Agreement)1. Simultaneously, Rio Tinto Exploration Pty Ltd (“RTX”, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Rio Tinto Limited (ASX: RIO), has signed a binding farm-in agreement for the Lake Johnston Lithium Project (RTX Agreement)1: o RTX to pay Charger $500,000 and invest $1.2 million in Charger prior to commencement of farm-in; o RTX to spend minimum $3 million exploration expenditure over the first 12 months; o RTX can earn 51% by sole funding $10 million in exploration expenditure and paying Charger minimum further cash payments of $1.5 million; o RTX can earn 75% by sole funding $40 million in exploration expenditure or completing a Definitive Feasibility Study."
POS has secured its future once again.
As pointed out thousands of times POS aint dead nor going under and all this rubbish about it was to secure cheap ownership for BIG BOY imho.
Same story as at AGO
POS has NO DEBT
POS has NO JUNKBONDS which is what sent AGO MBN ANL all under
POS has 3 massive MILLS and 6 prior producing MINES with MASS infrastructure
Gina spent a small fortune on a Li play Liontown last year and took a massive stake, where is Lointowns Kathleen Valley? Yep 3 hours from POS Windarra mine.
There never was a death card
There was always business as usual & large assets to promote imho.
