Oh.... finally.... WAF is firing up the rigs!
Toega has had no love since it was acquired by WAF, but, like above, times are a changing!
This is the sort of medium term production growth WAF is going to almost certainly add to the LOM at either Kiaka or Sanbrado, it is simply not a stretch for WAF to nudge up to 500k with 1-2 extra U/G mining operations (Toega looks likely to offer some serious bulk tonnage U/G, just from the results below, I am hopeful of a 50k+ p.a operation). I mean, they clearly already have enough drilling to be undertaking the mining study as we speak......
I must commend Richard and his team, they have shown incredible patience to get WAF to where it is today. I do wish they could be looking to pickup a local asset on the cheap, as I don't see any downside to doubling down on Burkina at this stage. Though perhaps they have their hands full with all the U/G potential at Sanbrado and Toega...
