Might be of value that the shorting activity has fallen off a cliff in the last week and then risen again. Back on 24/07/24 BRN 81Mill BRN shares were shorted or 4.36%, then 29/07/24 only 25 Mill shares or 1.36% were being shorted, a dramatic fall of some 66 Mill shares. Interestingly, the next day 30/07/24 an increase in shorting to 39 Mill shares or 2.12%.
Not sure if this as a result of the fully underwritten raise or rumours of a potential IP deal, or perhaps the less liquidity in trading, which has fallen away in the last 6 months??
Would be interesting to get a view from knowledgeable posters what they make of this?
