Give it some time ... if you can hold you may be pleasantly surprised. If you bail now, the loss is guaranteed ... Having ridden some stocks through the GFC, they are still in my holdings, have been paying consistent dividends etc. RIO for instance, was at $120 and crashed to ~$40. Sure, it has taken years but it is back there
