If there is an offer, or even if it is just a rumour, then it is being made at AU$234m in cash and script, but we don't know the split.
In total, according to the fully diluted numbers on the presentation today, that would equate to around 40 cents per fully diluted share.
If the cash and script offer was made at 50/50, then that equals 20 cents per share in cash, and the equivalent of 20 cents per share in Energy X shares, which is not good at all and would be immediately rejected by everyone I think.
It may be an initial offer, and Energy X may just be trying it on, given the Lithium market, to see if they get a nibble of interest from GLN, which I expect they did not.
They need to make an all cash offer equivalent to at least 40 cents per share, because I do not think many people want any Energy X scrip.
