" some Ignoramus who has no idea."

I'll tell you what - I will explain it here in very simple terms so that all ignoramuses can understand.

Let's say they do have a battery that can charge in 6 seconds - that in itself is not the issue - the real issue is whether it is possible to deliver enough energy to charge a 50kWh battery in that time. (BTW - I am using 6 seconds rather than 5 because the maths becomes so simple it can be done in most people's head, hopefully yours too).

One of the most powerful superchargers around, the Tesla V4 has a rating of 600 kW. That means, in one hour it can deliver 600kWh of energy.
    Therefore, in 6 seconds it can deliver 600 * 6 / 60 / 60 kWh = 1 kWh.

But we need 50kWh to fully charge the battery, that means we need the power of 50 Tesla V4 chargers.

Just to give you an idea of how big that is, consider that the average home in oz is supplied with an 80 amp power line, at 240 volts.
That means that the line can deliver 80 * 240 / 1000 = 19.2 kW of power. Let's round it to 20 to keep it simple.
So one Tesla V4 has as much power as the maximum that can be supplied to 600/20 = 30 houses.

But we need 50 Tesla chargers, which is the equivalent of 50 * 30 = 1500 houses.

To charge that battery in 6 seconds you need as much electricity as 1500 houses running at max capacity - half a frigging suburb.

If that doesn't impress you as being ridiculous, let me try something else:
Let's say they use that sodium battery to replace the biggest battery for the Ryobi tools - 18V 12 amp hours.
I have worked it out - see if you can do it yourself: you need to connect together the power lines of 6 houses to charge that battery in 6 seconds.

I think it is best if you don't talk about stuff you don't understand.
