Latest news - sending in a robot
(As was suggested in HC 2 days ago!)
I know they are all "experts" and we don't know much about mines & rescues but if they can send in a robot now - why couldn't they have sent one in days ago?? Were they first waiting for a robot to volunteer?
I am probably speaking out of turn here but this reeks of the Thredbo disaster where ,due to "safety concerns", they waited 65 long hours before digging out Stuart Diver. I know there are very brave "rescuers" at the mine - it seems that the people in charge would rather be retrievers.
If I feel this angry and frustrated then I can only imagine what the family and friends of the miners must feel.
My apologies if my posting upsets any family/friends of Thredbo/PRC but some things need to be said.
