Just because you can harness the wit of an above average intellect and pose an optimized thesis, doesn't mean that thought automatically converts to fact and especially when you assert nonsense about education.

All fundamentals are important, despite what it is you continue to argue regarding correlations. Financiers will not touch BML with a very long pole if they feel the macroeconomic curve is or will turn down. They look at an array of fundamental factors - definitely not correlations in isolation.

Further, its highly likely if they did get to that highly improbable (in the short/med term) point they would insist on specific terms anchoring off-takes to a specific commodity price to de-risk the project. With the current volatility in the market around growth and liquidity, and the downturn in commodities, the likelihood of that 'price' supporting the business case has declined not the inverse.

You conflating some tangential correlation argument is a falsehood. Please educate yourself on broader topics that drive the outcome people here have been (years) and are hoping will eventuate. It hasn't happened since you first proposed its inevitable ascent 4+ years ago, and conditions and this asset's performance are significantly worse.

Talk of money flooding into commodities is years old and based on a single optimized growth optic and without any consideration for risks. Surely the foundations of sound investing requires the evasive assessment of both.

But if you do want to talk about correlations, lets look at what silver has done in the past 12 months vs BML. Its lovely to hypothesize, but in the end a direct assessment of the underlying asset is what is important. Price distills all market knowledge (imperfectly sometimes, but overwhelming accurate over longer periods of time - like 4+ years).

You are simply arguing in a more sophisticated fashion than the blatant rampers, which remains in contrast to the performance of the asset. Also good to see you agreeing with my point about management tweaks, although I'd suggest it requires more than a tweak.
