How do you figure? FBR has no volatility. Fewer shares available for trading results in wild swings, increasing the volatility. Liquidity is measured in shares traded per day. FBR has about a 2 billion share float after percentage held by institutional and insiders. If they consolidate to 5 million shares from 5 billion, they'd have 2-2.5 million share float, the liquidity would fall to less than one million traded per day, and there goes your liquidity.
