Well most companies would have taken the advice given to them and gone back and done a better trial to provide better quality evidence for a submission. But SI is so terrified of doing another trial that likely would follow the pattern of all the other trials the company has been involved in and ended up as failures that he has fought against it tooth and nail for literally years to avoid it. But its hardly a convincing performance, it simply contradicts his "confidence" in the treatment he's trying to sell.
