I am writing to you as a concerned citizen of an Australia and a shareholder of an Australian company legally registered on the Australian stock exchange.
BPH Energy has an application awaiting approval by your team. This application has been in limbo by various entities for an extraordinary length of time for whatever reason is mind boggling. This project is called PEP11, a gas exploration request to search for gas in one of the most convenient areas of Australia as far as end user demand is situated which is located off the coast just north of Sydney. The permit is requesting permission for just one exploratory drill, just to have a look, no more.
The proposed site is some 26 kilometer's offshore. Way beyond visual site from the coast.
The location of their target, the demand for gas close at hand if gas is proven, the minimal infrastructure required to deliver to existing customers and the expedience this project could be a going concern just ticks so many boxes.
I am deeply concerned there may be darker reasons as to why this application has been stalled for such a long period of time compared to other applications for the same resource in remote locations which have been approved a much timelier manner.
This project offers more than just gas extraction, the company has done research to accommodate carbon capture which ticks more boxes.
I believe if your office would examine what this project has to offer you will agree with the logic to allow this one drill just for a look see.
The evidence for approval is great, and yet even with Scott Morrissons tampering, the successful legal challenge that ruled in favour of this application here we are.
My question to you is – Are we a progressive society that ha s a level playing field that recognizes opportunity and grasps it, or not?
