To pay the sort of fees you're quoting you'd need to have a substantial amount of money or complicated affairs IMO.
The initial fee is one thing but IMO the monthly fee is ridiculous.

Agree 100% For some people, seeing a FA can be beneficial. No need for rolling yearly fees though.

Find an FA that will do a plan, then charge an hourly fee for services required, if any down the track.
