Totally agree with this as was the situation in JW1.
All were saying duster! Not a wiff of gas or oil then whamo! What an excellent SEAL!
But once the seal was broken the oil was there.
UNFORTUNATELY its still a very tight play (so they say) but for now CTP has to at least prove that its THERE the OIL and perhaps flowing.
This well is obviously a company MAKER or at least put it further on hold.
And its interesting that the drilling this time has slowed down considerably. Hopefully there are some signs of gas or other soon. Maybe the Meerenie formation seal has a few cracks ready to show. Certainly about now would make things very interesting very quickly.
In fact less than 400m to Stairway so certainly some good news any day now could be on the cards and???.
