I've seen phase 3 trials costing between $30-100 million. Bit of variance there, but it's big $$$s!

Mostly phase 3s are funded by large pharmas. Sometimes I've seen CRs for phase 3. Just can't see them raising that kind of money for HIV.

Rebate will be about 1-1.5 million, which will just cover staff, admin and remaining CROs fees. Just kicking the can down the road on the CR front. Unless they can exercise the opies.

Even if opies are converted what can they do with 5/6m? Go back to of the unfinished projects? Cancer, hep b/c, dengue?
