Queenslanders used to get 6 cents per litre off the price of fuel, subsidised by the Qld Govnuts. But the ALP Govnuts scrapped that, and in return car rego's where supposed to be cheaper. Car rego costs in QLD are on par with other States in AU. Now the ALP Govnuts want to enter the fuel market by opening up 10-12 state run petrol stations.
