I think you should speak to your broker if your not happy with how the transaction is being done.
The brokers seem to do it differently from each other too.
I use a broker in Europe and they seem to have different rules as to how they buy and sell. I liked the way my broker in Aussie did the transactions. It was easier too. The broker that I used in Aussie did not require the funds for 5 days too.
The broker I use in Europe wants the money on the account before I even make a transaction which I found useless as sometimes I could not get the transaction there for three or four days. Which meant that I could not just buy as I wished. Usually loosing the opportunity. Most annoying.
In Aussie I used one of the big mobs and it was always nice and simple.
Speak to your broker and if you don't like the way they do it then shop around.
