More like Glencore playing a junior wannabe like he noobs they are. Sign up the off-take, remove the attractiveness of other companies providing finance, bleed out the finance. Cripple the business and swoop in at the 23rd hour for minimum chips.
They do it across all minerals. JP jumped at the first offer and got schooled. He should have grown a set of balls and made finance a requirement with the off-take. Including prepayments.
Then GLN would be a different story. Hard to come back from such an amateur move.
