Scaling up may make some sense.
Grade falls over time as we work our way down the list of best areas to mine.
Increasing scale or efficiency can help to offset that.
It should be a fairly simple calculation to see the ROI on the investment. Cost of the upgrade vs increase to production.
Though it would require sufficient resources to support the payback.
