russia these days is a technological desert with a "brain drain" - for some reason smart people just don't want to live there and all their semiconductors and complicated componenets are built elsewhere .....mainly western countries but some from China

but yeah , some dopes do say that happily ignoring the loss of gas revenues , the dependance on China , the war and the demographic proiblem

apparently the Russian war machine is falling apart due to ball bearings, they have no idea how to make them and can't buy them due to sanctions
