''Come on, that's the most unconvincing take, self creating life, really? How utterly improbable that a universe gets constructed and somehow imposes upon itself natural laws and limits to exact degrees. ''
That someone finds it unconvincing is irrelevant. If life is self sustaining, evolving and replicating, there is no barrier to spontaneous biogenesis. If all the necessary ingredients are present, organic molecules, RNA, energy, complex chemical reactions, there is no reason why life could not have got started.
It's the supernatural entity as a creator of the universe that's was more improbable than spontaneous biogenesis wherever the conditions are suitable.
