Probably a good thing but I don't follow this sector closely as in foxtel's current earnings ,netflix etc.I have foxtel only for the domestic/global news.One would not want to look back and see what tls paid for foxtel,plus by memory the optus pay TV division and SKY regional TV.
Imo only the two game changing issues for tls and there both negative is infraco which now will never be sold for obvious reasons i'm happy to list and the mammoth in the room is the failing telstra purple division and would anyone like to add up what tls from Thodey onwards paid for the tls purple acquisitions?.
Take these two divisions out and whats left mobile.?
National coverage and even metro competition will keep on increasing as spacelink develops.Tl should always have the lions share but spacelink continues to develop its real time connectivity and DTH phones and reduce monthly plans.
ps again tls has great potential but it requires a special CEO,CFO and board but its current direction is like a pilotless aircraft .Thats an aircraft that requires a pilot.
