The license permits WDS to keep the data for ever. Under the arrangement with PCL WDS aquired the data on behalf of the permit holders to allow them to decide whether to farmin. It was a big iwn for PCL to get the data as they could not afford to have done it them selves. Woodside are allowed to look at the data and interpret it much the same if the data had already existed as per a Dataroom agreement, but the Dataroom agreemnet does not permit a 3rd party to keep the data. This situation as Iain explained is not a normal process and Namcor have to approve WDS to keep the data, and when that happens WDS have 180 days to say yes or no to proceeding with the farmin agreement.
