To the LAY investor (me) if I was a BP going to strike re a T/O then that time is from now. SP is at a lull, they've just gone 3/3 with P2's - the rest is somewhat secondary IMO. The question for me is not will it get to market, but how fast can they get 2591 to market. That it works is surely beyond doubt now. Will an offer be credible enough to discourage mgt from doing the P3's themselves, time will tell I guess. But IMO today was the key day from which point we'll know how serious BP are about buying NEU.
