Ill add... its often said of mkts the fundamentals dont matter in a downtrend but are key in how a stock performs ina bull uptrend.
that isnt just true of commods but for all sectors
but it is especially true of commods in my experience
so thats why one wants to know what the ev/oz or the projects irr looks like at given metal prices when buying - even when it seems like the mkt is ignoring superior fundamentals
bc there comes a time when that matters greatly
