Ukraine had to evacuate 20000 people from Sunny region (across from the Kursk region) in 1 day due to the anticipated response by Moscow. On top of that, 100000 Ukranian civilians had to be evacuated due to the Russian offensive and attacks on numerous regions. 40000 evacuated in 1 day alone!

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said about 100,000 people have been evacuated via evacuation corridors over the past two days.

Regional authorities in eastern Ukraine say 20,000 people were evacuated from the Sumy region in northeastern Ukraine Thursday.
