PP2, for TNG to put a commercial case to develop Mt Peake it had to access all three primary comodities, iron, titanium and vanadium. In doing so it developed the TIVAN process. Necessity is the mother of invention. Now TVN will explore a variation of TIVAN in TIVAN+. We dont often focus on the iron component, however, in the long game i believe we should. I understand that titanomagnitite reserves will soon be a primary source of iron. As i understand it, traditional iron reserves will run liw soon. Titanomagnitite reserves will be in demand to replace those reserves. If TIVAN+ can demonstrate a CO2 neutral refinement process then it stands to reason that TIVAN or TIVAN+ will become a real option for iron production via titanomagnetite reaerves. To date iron/steel produced from such reserves tends to sacrafice titanium and recover vanadium from the slag. TIVAN must surely become a real option. It cannot be forgotten that 2030 is the European Economic Communities cut of for iron produced by CO2 emitting processes. Brjng on the green ingots!!
