The "Moscow Mission" talks failed spectacularly and got nowhere from the outset for a variety of reasons too involved and complicated to go into here. You make it sound like the UK and France were Villains for not giving Stalin what he sought. Like I said ifs, if only and maybes...don't try and paint it as if it was some kind of reason for WW2 and/or it was almost a done deal. It wasn't...the talks went nowhere.
