    A perfect example of what i am saying orthodox christianity teaches about the death of christ

    A total pagan human sacrifice, beautifully summed up by our atheist friend in a beautiful post, perfect on the subject

    Gods blood lust demanded the death of his son,so that he could forgive mankind for his sins

    What an absolute pagan sacrifice
    Wotsup in one of his posts even said,God used evil men to bring about his purposes

    Stunning

    1 corinthians 15 says that death is the enemy of God

    The book of john talks about christ being the light of this world

    Choose me and choose life

    Jesus is the representative of God

    In him was no darkness

    Darkness =death

    Satan is called the prince of darkness

    So using these cincepts

    Orthodox christians say

    God which is light, used darkness (death, his enemy) to fulfil his purposes???

    So he needed his son dead,to forgive us???

    Isnt this concept pagan?

    Isnt it darkness?

    In him was life, and there was no darkness in him?
