Recently checked in on Panasonic's gigafactory in Kansas.

The Japanese company expected production to start at the new facility by the end of March 2025. Panasonic Energy estimates that the De Soto battery plant will have an annual production capacity of approximately 30GWh.
They are already turning their eye to arrangements for local staff given plans to hire as many as 4000 staff. This is a good time to loop back to this post from 2022.
