Got a flight canceled 6-7yrs ago and had to stay in Guangzhou, China...blew my mind.

Not only did the airline sort a hotel, meals and transport promptly, but pretty much all the cars/buses on the road were electric.

Just felt like we were decades behind.

That said, deliberately leased a 23 wrx because
it's the last of the awd turbo manuals (that are affordable, I also live in the hills). Moreover, hope there's some appreciation for rarity/nostalgia over time.

When my wife's lease ends, I plan to lease her an electric. More and more BYD and Teslas popping up, yet I'm 40km out of Melbs. Writing is on the wall...as soon as they penetrate cost parity and charging facilities prop up more abundantly... the transition will
be swift. The fuel and servicing cost benefits will be too attractive to ignore for families grappling with inflation pressures re - servicing a mortgage/rent and trying to raise kids whilst 'balancing' life.

Might be a case of manufacturers cutting off model availability to oz.

Segue here but found LTM's CEO's comments interesting, seems polar opposite to PLS expansion plans. M&A/tenement buys/curtailing will be hot viewing from here on in imo.
