The thing is, the UAW deal which was ratified late last year does not expire until April 2028.
So your stuck with employment vs technology for some years yet.
Let's remain in denial that China and India will not reach peak emissions until the early 2030's, so even several million cheap Chinese EV depreciating rust buckets on Aussie roads won't make diddly squat difference to the big pictures.
