Lions must now win their 2 remaining games to have a chance at a top 4 finish, I guess that's the downside to having a poor first half of the season, you get punished if you drop a game after 9 in a row, instead of being a few wins up in front like Sydney were a few rounds ago, Sydney are likely to keep top spot as a result unless if they screw up their last 2 games, screw up their last 2, they could finish as low as 5th.
If Essendon win against Sydney, they could be tough against Brisbane, knowing that they still have a small chance at finals, so Lions must bring their best to remaining 2 games to have a shot at a top 4 finish.
Hawks will definitely be playing finals, they have the 2 easiest teams left to face. Well done to them, from 0-5 to 12-9, likely 14-9 at end of season, no one saw that coming.
Dogs will want to win the last 2 games, or have to rely on the Blues to drop one or Freo to drop both.
Freo will want to win at least one, which they should do, 2 will be preferable though. 56 points guarantees a spot in the finals this year, 54 probably will get them there though.
The premiership is just about anybody's in the 8, all teams have demonstrated they can string 4 wins together including the Dogs and Hawks, except Freo I think, but they have strung 3 wins together this season, they just need to go one step further.
