Labor's bill goes further than the Libs proposal earlier, but do they go far enough?
is it necessary to ban gambling ads at all?
why does Jane Hume conflate banning gambling ads in some time slots with banning gambling?
I'm sure everyone has known someone who got bitten by the gambling bug and gone bust. it's a compulsion that I'm glad I never bought into. the vile behaviours I've seen resulting from the true addiction, not the casual punter, have left kids going hungry at school and resulted in imprisonment. one guy I knew killed himself because he couldn't control himself.
so shouldn't they ban all gambling ads altogether?
