I am just an anonymous poster

Not just LED - you are never just one thing. If you were purely a trader - an honest trader - I could profit from trading with you and there would be no need for any victim. Even your nick - even your brand is not just one thing. You are not just an anonymous poster. If you were just an anonymous poster there would be no difference between you and the next just anonymous poster. You are a particular poster that posts particulars - including about yourself. Like that you might go to an MSB meeting and wear something fluffy - that kind of makes you more of a particular person and less of a general anonymous person. So too does your values. The jokes you laugh at - the behaviours you condone. But all nicks are reflections of the person using them and over time they take on aspects of the character of the person using them.

And btw anonymity isn't absolute - it cannot be relied upon as an absolute.

In eggregious cases of breaking laws, the site would have to respond to legal actions taken. Pseudo- anonymity, which is all an internet discussion site can provide, can be set aside. That is as it should be.

You are in the US - you can post things in the US - different laws apply - then here. Some things the US does better in my opinion - you guys have a Bill of Rights as part of your constitution - we don't in Australia.
