sending in troops to Kursk now is shutting the door after the horse has bolted .
A failure by russia to properly protect their bordrs and a failure to detect the scale of the incursion before it happened will cost russia dearly in Kursk because easy ground for Ukraine tot ake will be hard ground for rusisa to take back .

But what of the other oblasts - Blegorod for instance ?
If the military were sensible they would be reinforicng border troops and defences in these BEFORE some other costly and embarrassing similar incursion happens .
This , together with the extra troops required in Kursk will put pressure on putin in terms of troops , vehicles and armaments .
This has been a great idea for Ukraine but operationaly has been amazingly successful so far .

And no sign of anything changing - russ bloggers reporting c2 - command and control - is very poor for russia at present .
Thats military speak for a dogs breakfast of organisation .

Yet again Ukraine has been underestimated .....an incompetant russ military has ignored what they should've protected and now there is a cost for russia to pay and a loss .
