@Taltan; the formation of military blocs led to WW1 and to WW2 - they're absolutely TOXIC to achieving enduring world peace.
The USA has already moulded NATO into a military bloc targeting Russia. It's working overtime to create a similar military bloc targeting China using AUKUS as a nucleus. It's also formed a Middle Eastern military bloc to 'defend' Israel.
It should come as no surprise that those being targeted by an increasingly aggressive USA are forming stronger economic and military ties which may well also develop into major 'military blocs'.
Ukraine's President Zelensky's outrage that Russia has sourced military weapons from North Korea and from Iran rings pretty hollow after he's strutted the world stage seeking military resources from NATO and even from Australia. The double standards are palpable!
There are emerging complexities including the allegiances of India and its neighbours, African countries and Turkey's growing outrage with what western countries are doing to Palestinians.
