pls is developing lithium salts to reduce waste to contries they export to , china importing low grade african ore is doing the exact opposite just produces excessive waste and now just 1 company has a low quality lithium carbonate of 900 tonnes that they cant flush down the toilet but must store it which isnt a problem at first until quanties get so large then it is , so yes high grade WA ore probally has a cost and environmental benefit
