As I recall, STO themselves flagged a 1c move in $A as affecting their NPAT negatively about $8m I think? Which is why I believe their share price has been languishing.
I can't see any upside already priced in for GLNG personally which is why I have been a buyer of STO at these prices, anything sub $13 represents good value IMO.
I expect that KOGAS or whoever is supposedly looking at an equity stake in GLNG must surely be doing the sums of a straight-out takeover of STO at these prices due to the equity they would gain in PNGLNG etc at the same time as GLNG stake?
It certainly would make more sense to me, at least by my basic calculations but I unfortunately don't head up a multinational corporation...
