Hmmm!

• NEU's share price hit $15.60 shortly before the trading halt was called for Phelan McDermid results.
• The NEU market cap peaked later that month (Dec 23) at~$3bn ($25.11 per share).
• Here we are today at ~$2bn market cap ($15.60 per share), shortly after the third successful Phase 2 readout, in Angelman syndrome.
• The most recent share price peak was exactly 4 weeks ago (17/7)  - $22.14.
• This was the same day Milford ceased to be a major shareholder.
• Milford declared its average buy price had been ~$15.53.
• In the 4 weeks since, the share price has fallen ~30% to, well, just over $15.53.
• NEU's meeting with the FDA occurs next month – so any time after a fortnight from now.
• That meeting is crucial for determining the costs going forward to develop NNZ-2591 – which is crucial information for both Neuren and any potential acquirer.
• It’s quite possible an offer could come shortly after that meeting.
• Were a company to be interested in acquiring Neuren, it would naturally be very keen to see the share price “contained” before presenting its “attractive premium” offer.
• Personally, I'd be exceedingly disappointed with a $25 offer and I am also exceedingly disappointed that the share price has been taken back to where it was before the first of the three successful Phase 2 readouts for NNZ-2591.
