Agree with your sentiments, the VHS/BETA was always a Furphy put up by downrampers.
VHS/BETA were fun equipment for viewing movies etc. No comparison.
AKIDA will be a game changer for Health, Industrial maintenance including OH&S, Motor vehicle safety etc.
We are beginning to learn how AKIDA will be an enabler in the harsh environment of Space and Defense.
Tata consulting say Neuromorphic will be crucial for insurance. Real time and crystal clear video evidence. Health warning and real time notification of falls etc will be necesary. Tata also say it will be important for Banking. A link was posted to the Tata consulting link yesterday.
So many more uses as well.
