I don't have the time today to go into a long reply today but your comparison between IMU and PYC is is a bit like comparing apples and oranges there both fruit but they are very different .
i agree that there is risk in both but the lets say the expectation / probability of a commercial success I think lies in the favour of PYC. That does not mean PYC will be successful, but my research in the commercial chances of successful would as i say favour PYC. But of course the trials have to have a successful outcome and then of course you have to find a willing partner / deal.
It is healthy though to debate how we all see the possible future pitfalls and or success
